Uzbek Engineering Leaders Visit Meituo in Shenyang, Explore Practical Paths for Warehouses and Workshops

25-09-2025

Shenyang — September 2025
Early in the morning, a delegation from Uzbekistan stepped onto Meituo Steel Structure’s factory compound and paused — not for ceremony, but to listen. The steady rhythm of cutting presses, a metallic scent in the air, and the sight of skeletal frames climbing toward the roof gave the visitors an immediate sense of scale. With them were four company principals — Sardor Nazarov, Sattorov Ulugbek, Davron Makhammatov and Azamat Miyassarov — and Ms. Gong Peiqin from the Liaoning Chamber of Commerce’s International Cooperation Committee.

What followed was not a scripted tour. It was a working inspection: hands-on, technical, and focused on what matters when a client is building in another country — robustness, logistics, and installability. The Uzbek guests asked for details down to bolt markings and packing sequences; Meituo engineers answered with drawings, assembly sequences and photos from past overseas installs.

At the fabrication lines the group watched prefabricated frames being lifted into trial assemblies. “Seeing how pieces are serial-numbered and packed by erection sequence changes our risk assessment,” said one visiting engineer, sketching on a notepad. The comment reflected more than approval — it indicated practical readiness to move from talk to contract.

In the adjacent hall, a demonstration of protective coatings drew close attention. Meituo’s materials team explained options for corrosion-resistant finishes and low-VOC paints suitable for both warehouse roofs and interior decorative panels. Delegates from Uzbekistan noted that such finishes are critical for projects intended for hot, dusty plains or coastal logistics hubs. The conversation turned naturally from materials to transport: containerization strategies, port handling, and local erection crews.

Later, in a conference room framed by large windows, Meituo presented compact case studies: a logistics park adapted in South America, an assembly-line plant in Africa, and a set of modular workshops delivered to a European client. The focus was never on marketing blurbs but on how the company solves real installation pain points — staging, marking, and on-site supervision. Questions from the Uzbek side were technical and immediate: tolerance ranges, roof uplift detail, anchorage options for varied soil conditions.

Ms. Gong emphasized the visit’s role as a practical bridge. “This is about matching capability to need,” she told the group. “Liaoning companies can offer engineering support; partners from Central Asia bring project demand and site knowledge. That combination makes projects executable.”

Before the delegation departed, delegates and hosts sketched next steps: a small technical working group, an exchange of shop drawings, and a pilot timetable for a prospective Steel Structure warehouse project. The visitors left with a stack of printed shop drawings and a plan for a joint follow-up call within weeks.

Why this matters. Uzbekistan is accelerating infrastructure upgrades, and developers are increasingly opting for prefabricated, steel-framed solutions that shorten construction windows. Meituo’s mix of on-floor quality control, modular packing schemes, and an option for site supervision addresses three common barriers for overseas clients: uncertainty about quality, complexity of shipping, and local assembly capability.

Bottom line. The visit was practical rather than ceremonial. It produced a shared technical agenda and the kind of documentation that makes contracts executable rather than aspirational. For Meituo it opens the door to a region with rising demand for modern Steel Structure buildings and for Uzbekistan it offers a partner experienced in delivering turn-key steel workshops and warehouse systems.
